Sunglasses - Lines and Models
While the House of Chanel introduced its sunglasses line in the early 80’s, it has developed and evolved into various distinctive styles and classifications through the years:
- The Movie Star or Celebrity look is emphasized with wide rims and sidepieces, perfect for people who want the recognition but would like to remain anonymous.
- The Aviator Style, usually made of metal or acetate, is designed mask-type and comes in bright two-toned colors. These are perfect for active people with a trendy spirit.
- The Sporty Style is a line inspired by recent prêt a porter shows. The Chanel logo is discreetly displayed on the temple and the sunglasses are designed for the added “attitude”.
These are the latest in Chanel’s Sunglasses Collection. These sunglasses are a collection of glamour and elegance catering to a variety of tastes and personalities:
- 6006 - Aviator design: made of metal and acetate. The Chanel signature is found across the top of the bridge.
- 6013B – Round design, made of acetate with a 1950’s style. The signature is interlinked in two rows of strass made of Swarovski crystals.
- 5096B – Oversized frame made of acetate. The Chanel signature is found interlinked on the temple, in two rows made of Swarovski crystals.
- 4121B – Aviator-style made of sprite metal frames with thin temples. The distinctive signature is discreetly presented in their square shape.
- 4122B - Also aviator-style with thin temples and a discreetly displayed brand name on the side
- 4114 - Mask type made of acetate and metal and comes in various colors.
- 5085 - Oversized type with a magnetic clip on, for switching from one color to another.
- 5078 - Designed with two colors with an enamel signature. This style can also be used for prescription lenses.
- 4119 - Rimless design with a big Chanel signature found on the hinges.
- 4117B – Designed with metal acetate temples and the distinctive signature is inspired by Chanel’s jewelry collections
- 5088B – Designed with wide temples and frames. Mask-type.
- 5065 – Unisex mask-type. Made available in aviator-style and smaller frames.
